INTEGRAmotor BLDC Motors and Gearmotors

Bodine brushless DC INTEGRAmotor products combine a 24V brushless DC motor, a gearhead, a motor feedback device (encoder) and a control into one compact package. The integrated control simplifies installation, minimizes EMI, and reduces wiring cost, assembly time, and total cost of ownership. INTEGRAmotors are designed to be an alternative for applications that typically require stepper or high-end servo systems. They are an excellent choice for replacing traditional brush-type DC motors in applications that operate continuously, eliminating downtime for brush maintenance.

Type 22B/FV and 34B/FV INTEGRAmotors combine a 24VDC brushless DC motor, a built-in, open loop, voltage mode PWM controller and a 1024 PPR, two channel quadrature optical encoder. They accept PWM input from an external motion or speed controller, and feature amplifier enable, direction and dynamic braking inputs, as well as fault signal outputs. Type “FV” models can operate in velocity or position control mode. Internal current limit protects the motor from short-term overload.

Type 22B/SR and 34B/SR motors combine a 24VDC brushless DC motor with a built-in, 0-5 VDC analog input SR control. The control requires only one plug-in connector for power and logic, and includes inputs for run, brake, speed, and direction. It provides dynamic braking for quick stops and current limit circuitry to protect the motor from overloading. Type “SR” INTEGRAmotors also include a 12 pulse/revolution tach output. 

INTEGRAmotors are available in combination with almost all Bodine parallel shaft and right-angle gearheads. NEC Class-I Division-2 models for hazardous locations provide extra safety features for use in environments where flammable gases or vapors may be present such as petroleum refineries, dry cleaning plants and spray finishing areas. The type 34B4/SR-WX (CI/D2) gearmotors are available with 12V or 24V input and control option.
