Since 1905, the family-owned Bodine Electric Company has been the leader in small motor and gearmotor design and manufacturing. Bodine motors are now found in machines designed for medical imaging, laboratory testing, food service, factory automation, packaging, farm automation, metal fabrication, chemical pumping, and material handling.
Bodine Electric Company's primary manufacturing and assembly operations, human resources, accounting department, supply chain management, and main warehouse, are located in Peosta, Iowa (near Dubuque). Sales, Marketing, Design Engineering and Electronic Products Manufacturing are located in Northfield, Illinois (near Chicago).
